They come from the Hunza region in the Himalayas, and were previously known as Hunza Crystalsalt products, and were also introduced by Dr. Barbara Hendel and Peter Ferreira as "Original Himalayan Crystal Salt" in their book Water&Salt - The Essence of Life. The names may have changed but the product is still the same, as can be verified by the original logo of Licht Kraft Kristallsalz (still the same as when the company was known as Original Himalayan Crystal Salt), which is based on the seal of the Royal family from the area of origin. The comprehensive and beautifully illustrated book Water&Salt by Dr. Barbara Hendel and Peter Ferreira is available in English now, and copies can be ordered from us. We are all dedicated users of the products featured on the website and our mission is to provide these aids to health at the lowest possible price so everyone can benefit!
